Nelamoya respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how personal data is processed when you join the Nelamoya waitlist.
1. Who is responsible for your data?

2. What data do we collect?
When you join the Nelamoya waitlist, we collect your email address. We do not require your real name, date of birth or other personal information to join the waitlist.
3. Why do we process your data?
Your email address is used to confirm your subscription, inform you about the development and launch of Nelamoya, and provide early-access information and relevant updates. The legal basis is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.
4. How long do we keep your data?
We keep your email address while you remain on the waitlist or until it is no longer needed for the stated purpose. You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us at hello@nelamoya.com. Limited information may be retained where necessary to document a withdrawal request or demonstrate legal compliance.
5. Service providers and data location
The waitlist is currently stored using Cloudflare infrastructure, including a Cloudflare D1 database configured for the European Union jurisdiction. Cloudflare acts as a service provider supporting the hosting and operation of the waitlist. If we later add an email-delivery provider, this Privacy Policy will be updated before that provider is used for waitlist communications.

7. Adults only
Nelamoya is intended for adults aged 18 and over. If we become aware that personal data has been submitted by a person under 18, we may delete that information.
8. Security and abuse prevention
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures and reputable service providers to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or disclosure. The waitlist also uses Cloudflare Turnstile to help prevent automated abuse. Turnstile may process technical information needed to assess whether a request is automated or legitimate.
9. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Nelamoya develops or when our data-processing practices change. The latest version will be available on this page.
